Active Data Exchange is pleased to announce the newest release of Active Data Calendar 3.6!  Based on client feedback, we added new features for both our Marketing Calendar and Facilities Management clients to further assist in maximizing the event planning, scheduling, publishing and promotion process.

Active Data is also announcing the release and availability of Advanced Registration and Facilities Open Entry as two new modules to extend your current Calendar solution.  Ask your Account Manager for details about licensing options for these exciting new Calendar product modules
 

WHAT'S NEW IN VERSION 3.6!

Workflow

  • Integrate LDAP/AD User Groups throughout the application.

Open Entry

  • Re-generate the Open Entry Form to take advantage of enhancements to the scheduling area to better guide event submitters with the scheduling differences between series and multi-day events.

Syndication Options

  • Syndicate Event Listings, Generate Quick Links and RSS feeds by Department.
  • Generate Syndication Code, Quick Links, and RSS with a dynamic start date and a specific end date.
  • Create a default message to appear when no events are syndicated per feed.
     

Configuration

  • Configure the maximum number of attachments per event.
  • Set a global default time zone setting for the overall Calendar installation.
  • Enable or disable individual "Remind Me" options by E-mail or SMS.

Importing Data

  • Increase import speed time with enhanced event import processes and reporting capabilities. Correct events are imported and incorrect events are presented in a downloadable Event Error(s) Report so event data can be corrected and re-imported successfully
  • Use the new Exceptions Report area that allows you to see conflicts with events in your import file(s) with events already scheduled at facilities in your Calendar and the ability to take action on those conflicting events.

Facilities Module Feature Enhancements

  • Offer users the ability to add new User Setup Notes, User Setup Time and User Tear Down Time upon event entry to be tracked with room reservation requests.
  • Designate the number of features in a room when adding or modifying.
  • Create restrictions on room availability and bookings by Users/Groups.
  • Create lead time rules and restrictions for room bookings.
  • "Sub-Divide" new or existing rooms in the location structure and add additional features and notes.
  • Select to view "All Booked Facilities", "All Available Facilities" or "All Facilities” from the Facilities Gantt View.
  • Download a new Daily Resource Summary Report, Daily Facility Summary Report, Daily Operations Report and Event Exceptions Report.
  • Utilize the new Resource Gantt View and downloadable report of Daily Resource Bookings
