Community Publishing

Our community publishing tools provide you with a terrific way to open up more avenues to gather content for your community calendar. Open Entry is an umbrella term that comprises four add-on solutions for Active Data Calendar that enable you to decentralize event planning by giving your community, whether it is the general public or your general staff, the ability to submit events to your organization's master calendar subject to your approval.  We provide the easiest and most intuitive community publishing functionality available anywhere.

Our four add-on solutions for community publishing are:

  • Public Open Entry, which enables you to provide others a way to propose events directly to your master Active Data Calendar
  • Private Open Entry, for allowing others to propose events within the privacy of your Private Calendar add-on solution
  • Facilities Open Entry Standard, which lets you give outside groups further access to search your Facilities Scheduling add-on solution and plan their own events
  • Facilities Open Entry Enterprise, for larger organizations with multiple outside groups that require access to your Facilities Scheduling add-on solution and are better serviced by multiple submission forms.

While our Open Entry Modules provide outside groups the ability to take advantage of our community publishing calendar tools by giving them the ability to publish to your Calendar, you still retain oversight and remain in full control of the process.  Open Entry establishes a permissions-based workflow to guarantee no event is published to your public calendar without you getting to see it first.
