Private Calendar

Private Calendar is an add-on solution that brings privacy and additional workflow controls to Active Data Calendar.

It can serve as the foundation of your centralized calendar to assure the flow of event information is managed internally prior to your decision of whether to publicize the event or to keep it in a private calendar setting.

With Private Calendar, you can create event categories that are unique from those offered on your public calendar.  You can enable internal groups to have their own private calendar or category, and limit the number of administrative accounts that are allowed to enter, manage or approve events.

What’s ideal is that the private calendar allows you to configure a permissions-based workflow that requires approval by private category owners well before event information is syndicated to your public website.  The look and feel of private calendar can be tailored to fit seamlessly into your intranet, extranet or portal.

We’ve made the solution extremely easy to use.  You’ll be able to configure a variety of syndicated private-event feeds from your extranet or portal within minutes.

As with Active Data Calendar, you can import data from third-party applications into your centralized master private calendar, and export information seamlessly to other applications and enterprise systems.
